Two-day practitioner conference on AI-driven software development, agents and code generation, hosted hybrid at Microsoft Japan's Shinagawa office.

The AI-driven Development Conference 2026 Summer (AI駆動開発カンフゑレンス 2026倏) is a two-day, community-run event for engineers building software with AI assistance. It takes place on 30 and 31 July 2026, 11:00 to 18:00 each day, in person at Microsoft Japan's Shinagawa office (Shinagawa Grand Central Tower, Minato, Tokyo) with a parallel online stream via YouTube Live, making it a genuine hybrid event.

The agenda is squarely practitioner-focused: AI-driven development workflows, generative AI and large language models in the development loop, agentic and autonomous coding tools, and tooling such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor. Featured speakers are drawn from Microsoft, Cursor and Cognition, giving attendees direct exposure to the teams behind the tools many developers now use daily. Networking sessions follow each day, with a social gathering on the second evening.

In-person capacity is capped at around 300 seats, with on-site registration handled through Peatix and online registration through connpass. For developers and engineering leads in the Tokyo area, this is a concentrated, technically specific look at how AI is changing the day-to-day mechanics of writing and shipping code, rather than a high-level strategy event. Exact session schedules are published on the connpass event pages.
