Free Japanese-language online AI study session (#260 in SkillUp NeXt's weekly series) on generating and simulating data to train real-world 'Physical AI', streamed live on YouTube.
This is the 260th instalment of SkillUp NeXt's weekly free AI study session, held online on June 24, 2026 from 19:30 to 21:00 JST and streamed live on YouTube. SkillUp NeXt (formerly SkillUp AI) runs the JDLA-certified programme behind these Wednesday-evening sessions, which work through practical machine-learning and AI engineering topics for a Japanese audience.
The June 24 theme is 'Data Generation in the Physical AI Era β learning real-world AI through data generation and simulation'. As AI is increasingly fused with the physical world, a shortage of high-quality training data has become a real bottleneck; the talk addresses how synthetic data generation and simulation can break through it. The roughly 30-minute programme covers what Physical AI is, why data generation matters, a live demo of generating training data, common pitfalls, and recent applications.
Speakers are SkillUp NeXt practitioners Shinya Ogata and Yui Iioka β the latter with a robotics-research background including an IROS paper and international-competition wins. The session is free; it is conducted in Japanese and aimed at machine-learning engineers and practitioners wanting hands-on, current technique rather than introductory material.
