JCMIT 2026: Joint Conference on Medical Informatics in Taiwan (Taipei)
π Saturday, 19 December 2026 in 179 days
Taiwan's annual medical-informatics conference, themed on AI Agents in smart healthcare, hosted by Tri-Service General Hospital and the Taiwan Association for Medical Informatics.
The 2026 Joint Conference on Medical Informatics in Taiwan (JCMIT 2026) takes place on Saturday 19 December 2026 at the Tri-Service General Hospital, Neihu Branch in Taipei, in the B1 First Lecture Hall. It is jointly hosted by Tri-Service General Hospital and the Taiwan Association for Medical Informatics (TAMI), and this year's headline theme is the application and outlook of AI Agents in smart healthcare under Taiwan's national Healthy Taiwan programme.
For attendees, the conference sits firmly in the applied medical-AI space. The call for papers foregrounds AI Agents and the broader application of artificial intelligence across clinical practice, clinical-research data and healthcare innovation, alongside clinical decision support systems, big-data and knowledge management for healthcare, medical imaging integration, and the ethical, legal and privacy dimensions of medical data. It draws a practitioner-heavy audience from Taiwan's hospital, academic, government and industry communities, with proceedings published and a selection of strong papers recommended to the association's medical-informatics journal.
Admission to attend is free (paper authors pay a per-paper registration fee), making it accessible to clinicians, informaticians and students who simply want to follow how Taiwanese hospitals are adopting AI agents and decision-support tools. The full-paper submission deadline is 16 October 2026, with review notifications on 2 November and registration closing 13 November - so this is a live call-for-papers opportunity at the time of listing. The detailed agenda is scheduled to be published in the second half of 2026.
