ENIAC 2026 — National Meeting on Artificial Intelligence and Computational Intelligence
📅 Monday, 19 October 2026 → Thursday, 22 October 2026 in 95 days
Component event within BRACIS; useful because it catches searches for Brazilian AI research explicitly.
ENIAC 2026, the 23rd Encontro Nacional de Inteligência Artificial e Computacional (National Meeting on Artificial and Computational Intelligence), runs from 19 to 22 October 2026 in Cuiabá, Mato Grosso, co-located with BRACIS 2026 at the Centro de Eventos do UniSENAI. Supported by the Brazilian Computer Society's Special Interest Groups on Artificial Intelligence and Computational Intelligence, ENIAC provides a national forum for researchers, practitioners, educators and students to present and discuss innovations, trends and developments across the field. It is positioned as an especially welcoming venue for postgraduate and undergraduate students to submit and present ongoing work — in many cases their first papers — and includes a dedicated undergraduate track alongside the main track.
The programme covers a wide topic range, including artificial neural networks and deep learning, machine learning, large language models, generative AI and foundation models, evolutionary computation and metaheuristics, fuzzy systems, knowledge representation and reasoning, natural language processing, computer vision, intelligent robotics, explainable and human-centred AI, and the transformation of work through AI. Papers may be submitted in Portuguese or English, are reviewed double-anonymously by at least two experts, and accepted works are published electronically through SBC Open Lib. The 2026 edition is chaired by César Lincoln Cavalcante Mattos (UFC) and Karliane Medeiros Ovídio Vale (UFRN). Sitting under the BRACIS umbrella, ENIAC complements the main research conference with a more accessible, nationally focused meeting.
