DSSBR 2026 — Data Science Summit Brasil

📅 Tuesday, 27 October 2026 → Thursday, 29 October 2026 in 103 days

📍 IEP — Instituto de Engenharia do Paraná, Curitiba, Brazil

Brazilian congress for AI, Big Data and Quantum Computing focused on real applied AI cases in production.

The Data Science Summit Brasil (DSSBR) 2026 holds its fifth edition from 27 to 29 October 2026 at the Instituto de Engenharia do Paraná (IEP) in Curitiba, billed as a Brazilian congress on Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and Quantum Computing. Running since 2018, the summit's stated 2026 focus is "real cases of applied AI in production" — the teams putting intelligent systems into live use across major Brazilian organisations, with an emphasis on measurable outcomes such as cost savings, conversion, fraud reduction and latency. The event is organised by IEP and Azuris together with the GUBigData community.

The format spans three days and parallel tracks. Day one is given over to hands-on workshops (advertised sessions include building an AI platform on AWS with Bedrock and SageMaker, RAG on Snowflake Cortex, and real-time analytics with ClickHouse); day two is the main conference with keynote and case-study tracks plus a strategy-and-ROI track aimed at CDOs and CTOs; and day three offers advanced technical deep-dives, a curated business-matchmaking round and a closing speakers' dinner. Companies that have taken part across previous editions include AWS, Oracle, Snowflake, NVIDIA, Microsoft, IBM, Databricks and Magalu Cloud, and panels span sectors such as agribusiness, health, legal and government. Conducted primarily in Portuguese, DSSBR is a practitioner-oriented gathering for Brazil's data and AI community, strongest for those interested in production deployment, applied case studies and southern-Brazil tech networking rather than academic research.
