WI-IAT frames itself as AI in the connected world, covering intelligent agents, data science, knowledge management and AI across the Web of people, data, things and agents. The 25th edition is in Brisbane in December 2026, with a full-paper deadline of 15 June 2026 and a special track on FAccT, LLMs and AIGC.
The IEEE/WIC International Conference on Web Intelligence and Intelligent Agent Technology (WI-IAT) is a long-running forum - first held in 2001 - for research where AI meets the Web: collective intelligence, data science, human-centric computing, knowledge management, network science and autonomous/multi-agent systems. The 25th edition runs 3-6 December 2026 in Brisbane, Australia, in hybrid mode and in conjunction with the Brain Informatics 2026 conference.
The 2026 programme is organised around tracks on the Web of People, Data, Things, Trust and Agents, plus a special track on FAccT, large language models and AIGC. The full-paper submission deadline is 15 June 2026, with notifications 31 July and camera-ready 15 August.
Papers (up to eight pages, IEEE format) undergo single-blind peer review and accepted work is submitted to IEEE Xplore, with selected papers invited to the Web Intelligence journal.
