📍 Melbourne, Australia

The IEEE International Conference on Responsible Artificial Intelligence convenes at La Trobe University's Melbourne city campus to debate the design, deployment and governance of trustworthy AI. Tracks span AI safety and security, physical AI and robotics, AI ethics and regulation, and neuro-symbolic AI, with papers published in IEEE Xplore.

IRAI 2026, the IEEE International Conference on Responsible Artificial Intelligence, runs 3-5 September 2026 at La Trobe University's City Campus in central Melbourne. Sponsored by the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, it is built around the global conversation on developing and adopting AI responsibly across industry, society and the economy.

The technical scope is broad but coherent: AI models and algorithms, AI safety and security, predictive and explainable AI, AI agents and bots, physical AI and robotics, machine reasoning, AI ethics and regulation, and emerging quantum and AGI topics, with the throughline of pairing technical performance with ethics, transparency, fairness and accountability.

Accepted and presented papers go to IEEE Xplore, and the organisers offer travel grants and online participation support. It is a rigorous, standards-body-backed responsible-AI venue with strong Asia-Pacific reach.
