KU Leuven's interdisciplinary AI institute (Leuven.AI) runs ongoing public lectures open to anyone interested in AI. Mix of Dutch and English language. Speakers from across KU Leuven's AI departments: Tias Guns (Machine Learning), Tinne De Laet (Engineering Science), Tim Van de Cruys (Computational Linguistics), Thomas Winters (Creative AI), Wannes Meert (DTAI section), Lode Lauwaert (Philosophy of Technology, Chair of Ethics & AI). Distinguished invited lectures include Virginia Dignum (Responsible AI, Umeå), Nathalia Smuha (Institute for Ethics in AI, KU Leuven). 2025 lecture marked KU Leuven's 600th anniversary + 70th anniversary of AI. Pairs with Brussels-based AI policy work + EU AI Office proximity.
