AI Policy Summit

AI Policy Summit 2026 takes place 2–3 October 2026 in Zurich, organised by ETH Zurich's Center for Law & Economics with RegHorizon. The annual summit convenes policymakers, business leaders, civil society and academia for a multi-stakeholder dialogue on how public policy and societal engagement can capture the benefits of AI, minimise its risks, and accelerate responsible adoption. It is a flagship event of the Zurich AI Festival, run in partnership with the Canton of Zurich, Greater Zurich Area and the ETH AI Center.

As governments worldwide move from AI principles to enforceable rules, this summit is one of Europe's more substantive venues for the governance conversation — academic in rigour but built to put regulators, industry and researchers in the same room rather than talking past each other.
