AI + Environment Summit 2026

The AI + Environment Summit is a full-day gathering at the Innovationspark Zurich in Dubendorf, organised by early-career researchers from ETH Zurich, the ETH AI Center, EPFL and the University of Zurich's Ecovision Lab. Its stated aim is to inspire, ignite and innovate work in AI for the environment.

The programme brings academic and industry speakers together to explore how machine learning is applied across weather and climate modelling, remote sensing and drone-based monitoring, and biodiversity and ecosystem conservation. With student tickets at 10 CHF and regular admission at 50 CHF, it is deliberately accessible to PhD students and practitioners. Attendees get a concentrated day of talks and networking focused on the science of applying AI to environmental problems rather than a broad sustainability agenda.
