AI in Agriculture (AgriAI) Thematic Session at FedCSIS 2026

📅 Sunday, 23 August 2026 → Wednesday, 26 August 2026 in 33 days

📍 Riga, Latvia

Peer-reviewed AI-in-Agriculture research track at FedCSIS 2026, covering plant-disease detection, weeding automation, soil monitoring and crop prediction.

The AI in Agriculture (AgriAI) thematic session is a dedicated research track within FedCSIS 2026, the Federated Conference on Computer Science and Information Systems, held 23-26 August 2026 in Riga, Latvia. The session is chaired by researchers from the National Research Council of Italy's Institute of Information Science and Technologies alongside Czech partners.

The track focuses squarely on intelligent systems for farming: plant and crop disease detection, weeding automation, soil-status monitoring, yield and crop prediction, and related computer-vision and machine-learning applications. It welcomes interdisciplinary papers connecting AI methods with real agricultural problems, and accepted work is published in the FedCSIS proceedings.

This is an academic venue aimed at AI and machine-learning researchers, PhD students and applied scientists who want a peer-reviewed outlet and audience for agricultural-AI work. Attendees present and discuss methods rather than commercial products. Because AgriAI sits inside a broader computer-science conference, delegates get both the focused agri-AI community and cross-pollination with adjacent AI, data-science and IoT tracks.
