A hybrid conference dedicated to artificial intelligence in the built environment, held in Helsinki and online. It connects AI researchers and AEC industry practitioners around real applications across architecture, engineering and construction.
AI in AEC returns to the Clarion Hotel Helsinki (with an online option) on 17-18 March 2027, organised by RIL, the Finnish Association of Civil Engineers. Described as the world's first conference series focused on artificial intelligence in the built environment, it brings AI experts, researchers and industry leaders together to explore AI across architecture, engineering and construction.
Earlier editions drew over 320 participants from more than 30 countries, with consistently strong attendee ratings. The 2027 programme runs in a hybrid Helsinki format, and an open call for speakers runs until 30 September 2026.
It is well suited to AEC professionals and researchers wanting a focused, international view of how AI is reshaping design and construction workflows.
