📍 Kobe, Japan

Biennial Asia-Pacific precision agriculture conference covering sensing, remote sensing, machine learning and data-driven decision tools for crops.

The 12th Asian-Australasian Conference on Precision Agriculture (ACPA 12) will be held 15-18 September 2027 in Kobe, Japan, continuing the biennial series run under the International Society of Precision Agriculture. It is the Asia-Pacific flagship for precision-agriculture research.

ACPA gathers work on the sensing, data and analytics that define modern precision farming: proximal and remote sensing, machine learning for crop and soil modelling, variable-rate technologies, robotics and data-driven decision support. As agricultural datasets have grown, AI and machine-learning methods have become the core analytical engine of the field, and recent editions have foregrounded computer vision and predictive modelling for crops.

The conference draws precision-ag scientists, sensing and machine-learning researchers, and agri-tech developers from across Asia, Australasia and beyond. Held in person, it offers a rankable regional venue with peer-reviewed sessions and strong Japanese and Asia-Pacific participation. It suits researchers applying AI to remote sensing, phenotyping and farm-management analytics who want exposure to the region's crops, systems and industry.
