Third Annual Rome Conference on AI, Ethics, and Governance 2026

📅 Thursday, 18 June 2026 → Saturday, 20 June 2026 in 6 days

📍 Rome, Italy

The third annual Rome Conference on AI, Ethics, and Governance runs 18-20 June 2026 across Rome and Vatican venues, three days dedicated entirely to the responsible development, governance and societal impact of artificial intelligence. The programme spans AI and the future of medicine, AI and the future of work, and AI, youth and relationships, alongside the European AI Rising Stars Awards on 18 June.

Run by the independent, Italy-based Foundation for AI, Ethics and Governance, this conference is unambiguously AI-core: the entire three days examine how AI should be governed, regulated and deployed responsibly across capital allocation, critical infrastructure, healthcare, labour markets and the lives of younger generations.

The 2026 edition is the third annual edition (following 2024 and 2025) and is supported by a broad mix of technology firms, investors, law firms and academic institutions. A European AI Rising Stars Awards ceremony anchors the opening day, recognising emerging voices in AI ethics and governance.

It suits researchers, legal scholars, academics, AI industry leaders and civil-society practitioners who work on AI policy and responsible-AI questions, and adds a substantive governance and ethics anchor to the directory's European coverage.
