📅 Tuesday, 9 June 2026 → Friday, 12 June 2026
PAKDD 2026 — the 30th Pacific-Asia Conference on Knowledge Discovery & Data Mining, Hong Kong, 9–12 June.
PAKDD 2026 is the 30th edition of the Pacific-Asia Conference on Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining, held 9–12 June 2026 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. It is one of the longest-running and most selective data-mining conferences in the world, with peer-reviewed papers published by Springer.
What you gain
As an attendee you get a high-signal map of where data mining and applied ML are heading — across data science, machine learning, knowledge engineering, statistics, visualization and emerging applications — through keynotes, refereed paper sessions, tutorials and workshops. Newcomers are explicitly catered for: it's a place to learn cutting-edge research directly from the people publishing it. Hosted by a consortium of Hong Kong universities (HKUST, PolyU, HKBU, EdUHK, CUHK-Shenzhen).
Where it fits
PAKDD is the Asia-Pacific anchor of the KDD research lineage that underpins modern recommender systems, LLM data pipelines and analytics. For researchers and practitioners in the region it's the premier venue to publish, recruit and track the field's frontier.
