Oxford Institute for Ethics in AI — Research Seminars 2026-27

University of Oxford's Institute for Ethics in AI runs lunchtime research seminars during Hilary, Trinity, and Michaelmas terms. Hybrid format (Oxford in-person + remote livestream) with free buffet for in-person attendees. Convened by Professor John Tasioulas, Dr David Storrs-Fox, Dr Thomas Mitchell. Primarily showcases work-in-progress by Oxford academics with occasional outside speakers. Past sessions include Nathalia Smuha (KU Leuven) on "Algorithmic Rule By Law", Claudia Chwalisz on democratic AI. Pairs with the Oxford Internet Institute (OII) at the Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities — current OII Director Dr Scott A. Hale.
