📍 SUNY Global Center, New York, United States

Public BNL summit on transformational AI spanning science, society, energy, robotics and risk.

The New York Scientific Data Summit (NYSDS) 2026, subtitled “Transformational AI from Science to Society”, takes place on 28 and 29 September 2026 at the SUNY Global Center in New York City. The summit is co-hosted by Brookhaven National Laboratory, the Institute for Advanced Computational Science and the AI Innovation Institute at Stony Brook University, and is held primarily in person with a remote participation option.

Programming is organised around five tracks, all centred on artificial intelligence: Robotics and Embodied AI, AI for Science, AI for Energy, AI for Risk Assessment, and AI for Education. The event brings together researchers working at the intersection of machine learning, robotics and scientific computing across these domains.

Registration is open at the time of writing and closes on 20 September 2026; an abstract-submission track is open through 15 August 2026. Keynote and invited speakers are shown as to be determined, so the confirmed line-up should be checked closer to the date. Anyone planning to attend remotely rather than in person should confirm access arrangements when registering.
