📅 Tuesday, 12 January 2027 → Thursday, 14 January 2027 in 214 days

📍 Tromso, Norway

The northernmost annual AI and deep learning conference, held at UiT in Tromso, gathering around 250 researchers for cutting-edge deep learning work in the Arctic winter. A co-located winter school, industry track and diversity-in-AI programme round out the week.

The Northern Lights Deep Learning Conference (NLDL) returns to UiT The Arctic University of Norway in Tromso on 12-14 January 2027, organised by Visual Intelligence and the UiT Machine Learning Group. Billed as the world's northernmost AI science conference, it brings roughly 250 researchers together for a single-track programme of peer-reviewed deep learning research.

The conference pairs high-profile international keynotes with an industry event, a diversity-in-AI strand and a five-day NORA-affiliated Winter School (11-15 January) offering tutorials from deep learning experts.

It is a strong fit for researchers and graduate students who want a serious, well-attended European deep learning venue with a distinctive Arctic setting.
