MIWAI 2026, the 19th International Conference on Multi-disciplinary Trends in Artificial Intelligence, runs 10-12 October 2026 at Saint Mary's University in Halifax, Canada, with hybrid attendance. Originally a workshop series begun more than 18 years ago, it has matured into an established AI venue with a strongly international programme committee.
The scope is deliberately broad: machine and deep learning, NLP and speech, computer vision, robotics and autonomous systems, AI for society and ethics, AI theory and algorithms, and dedicated tracks on agentic AI and large language models. Both research and application papers are solicited under double-blind review.
Proceedings are published in Springer's LNAI series and indexed in Scopus, Web of Science and DBLP. It is an accessible, multidisciplinary AI conference with a global community and a Canadian east-coast setting.
