📍 Toronto, Canada

ICASSP is the IEEE Signal Processing Society's flagship and the largest conference on signal processing and its applications, now heavily driven by machine learning, generative AI, speech and audio. The 52nd edition is in Toronto in May 2027, with a full-paper deadline of 16 September 2026.

The IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing (ICASSP) is the Signal Processing Society's flagship and one of the largest technical conferences in the field. Its scope now leans strongly into AI: dedicated technical areas cover Machine Learning for Signal Processing, Speech and Language Processing, computer vision, computational imaging and generative AI, alongside classical signal-processing theory. The 52nd edition runs 16-21 May 2027 in Toronto, Canada.

The full-paper submission deadline is 16 September 2026, with acceptance notifications in mid-January 2027. The conference also offers an IEEE Open Journal of Signal Processing track on the same review timeline and presentation slots for already-published SPS/EURASIP journal papers.

For researchers in speech, audio, multimodal learning and ML-for-signals, ICASSP remains a major annual destination.
