GalsenAI hosts an AI Evals Meetup on 10 June 2026, 5:00pm at Terrou-Bi, Dakar — an evening for researchers, AI practitioners, designers, public-health experts and startups on evaluating AI in real-world African contexts.

The session shares early insights from the Voice-to-Voice (V2V) project — including a first evaluation of OpenAI's latest voice model in public-health settings in Rwanda and Senegal — and explores human-centred approaches to testing AI systems beyond benchmarks and demos. Supported by a grant from the Gates Foundation; presentations are in English. GalsenAI is Senegal's leading AI/ML community (4,600+ members).
