The European Robotics Forum is the leading annual gathering of the European robotics and AI community, and the 2027 edition heads to Birmingham, United Kingdom on March 2-4, 2027. Organised by euRobotics, ERF brings together academic researchers, industry, startups, funders and policymakers under one roof.
The forum is built around dozens of community-proposed workshops and sessions covering the full robotics value chain: autonomous mobile robots, manipulation, human-robot collaboration, AI and machine learning for robotics, standards, funding and deployment across manufacturing, healthcare, agriculture and services. A call for workshop expressions of interest opened well ahead of the event, reflecting its bottom-up, community-driven format.
For attendees, ERF is less a paper-presentation conference and more a strategic meeting point for the European robotics ecosystem — a place to shape research agendas, meet potential partners and track policy and funding.
