A free hands-on agentic-AI meetup in Bengaluru on 11 July 2026, hosted at UiPath's Vajram ONYX office. The session walks through building coded AI agents with the UiPath SDK/CLI, LlamaIndex for retrieval and RAG fundamentals.
Enterprise AI Agents using UiPath & LlamaIndex is a free, hands-on community meetup run by the Agentic AI Community Bengaluru and hosted by UiPath, taking place on Saturday 11 July 2026, 10:00–12:30 IST, at UiPath's office in Vajram ONYX, Devarabisanahalli, Bellandur, Bengaluru.
The session is a practical introduction to building agentic automation at the intersection of RPA, LLMs and agent frameworks. The published agenda moves end-to-end: an introduction to “coded” versus visual agents and when to use each; a walkthrough of the UiPath SDK and its activity packages; an overview of LlamaIndex as a retrieval framework (data connectors and query engines); and the fundamentals of retrieval-augmented generation — chunking, embeddings, vector stores and retrieval — framed as the building blocks behind any knowledge-aware agent. It then covers the UiPath CLI for scaffolding, publishing and running agents from the command line, and UiPath Skills for packaging reusable capabilities that an agent can call at runtime. The session closes with a live build, wiring SDK + LlamaIndex + RAG into a working coded agent that attendees can reproduce afterwards.
The topic is timely: enterprise automation vendors have spent the last year repositioning around agentic AI, and the convergence of established RPA tooling with LLM-backed retrieval is one of the more consequential shifts in business automation. By grounding the material in concrete frameworks (UiPath SDK/CLI, LlamaIndex) rather than abstractions, the meetup is well-suited to engineers who need to ship knowledge-augmented agents inside real organisations.
The event is free with registration on Meetup, and is firmly AI-core. AI What's On lists it as a community meetup in the priority Bengaluru region.
