The Australasian Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence is held at the University of Auckland Business School in New Zealand. It is the region's principal annual AI research conference, drawing academics and students from across Australasia and beyond.

AJCAI 2026, the Australasian Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence, runs 26-30 November 2026 at the University of Auckland's Sir Owen G Glenn Building in New Zealand. It is the flagship annual AI conference for the Australasian research community.

As the regional joint conference, AJCAI spans the breadth of AI research - learning, reasoning, agents, applications and responsible AI - and serves as the main meeting point for AI academics and postgraduate students across Australia and New Zealand. The 2026 site went live in late 2025; registration, accommodation and detailed programme are still to be announced.

It is the natural Australasian counterpart to the larger international AI conferences, with a collegial community feel.
