AIAI 2026 - 22nd IFIP Conference on Artificial Intelligence Applications and Innovations

AIAI 2026 is the 22nd edition of the IFIP International Conference on Artificial Intelligence Applications and Innovations, held 16-19 July 2026 at the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania (MAICh) on Crete, Greece, with a parallel online track. Organised under the auspices of IFIP Working Group 12.5 by Democritus University of Thrace, the University of Piraeus and the Technical University of Crete, it has run continuously since 2004 and publishes its proceedings with Springer (with a full open-access option).

The conference is a well-established forum where academic and industry researchers exchange methods and results across the breadth of applied AI, complemented by a slate of workshops (spanning AI for growth and development, medical/health data, explainable AI in education, beyond-5G networks and AI ethics), tutorials and a doctoral track. It is a good fit for AI researchers, PhD students and practitioners, and gives Greece a second distinct AI-core conference alongside the Hellenic SETN meeting.
