AI in Business Conference 2026

The inaugural AI in Business Conference is hosted by the Max M. Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, on 14-16 October 2026. Built around the theme "AI Innovation at Scale: From Hype to Readiness", the expanded 2.5-day programme deliberately bridges two audiences that rarely share a room. The opening days carry an industry and practitioner track, with practitioner-led panels and presentations on deploying AI enterprise-wide across marketing, finance, operations and human resources; the closing days shift to an academic research track of empirical, analytical and theoretical papers and poster sessions, with Thursday bringing both communities together.

For attendees in the industrial Midwest, it is a rare chance to hear how organisations actually scale AI in production — grounded data, governed risk and the organisational maturity to move deliberately rather than merely fast — alongside the newest research shaping how those systems get built.
